Worked on this with the good people at dotdotdash in 2025-2026. Afeela was a incredible prototype for a car produced by Sony Honda Mobility. The key feature for me (and a big reason I was brought onto the project) was the Afeela car sported a "Media Bar", a LED screen that rides above the headlights and shows anything you want (within reason hah).
The most difficult part of this project is that, for every piece made for Media Bar, it had to go through a series of checkers, ensuring nothing moved too fast, was too unbalanced, or was too saturated (no imitating police lights)...so a lot of animations had to be simplified dramatically to be playable on the bar...
I also produced several of the in-store videos from start to finish, ads for the USC football games, as well as performed editorial duties on a few spots as well.
Then Honda got cold feet about electric vehicles and pulled the plug. Kind of wish this Waymo you can buy was released, it looked incredible and it's a bummer it will never be available (for now).
